German Shepherd Dogs require attention.  Are you able to take time to play with your dog and go for daily walks?  This dog will become a part of your extended family and ultimately a big part of your life. 

The life expectancy of a German Shepherd Dog is about 11 to 13 years.  German Shepherds become partners for life with a select person.  If you would like to have your dog spayed or neutered, that must occur between 6 and 12 months of age.  Do you need a German Shepherd Dog for a guard dog for your home or business?  If so, a German Shepherd is a good choice.  German Shepherds are working dogs and must be active throughout the day.  Behavioral issues can arise if you do not give your dog the attention and exercise he/she needs.  Barking may occur and other behavioral problems may happen.

A German Shepherd Dog requires much more than being a lap dog.  A mutual respect must occur.  Socializing is very important in the life of a German Shepherd.  Socializing gets the dog used to noisy situations and develops them into a fun-loving dog.  You must dedicate time into soicalizing your puppy and helping them to feel comfortable in those types of situations.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND PERSONAL GUARANTEE
1. The dog's new home will be comfortable, and he/she will be treated as a member of the family.
2. Dog will be under control of the new Owner at all times. He/she will not be allowed to roam the neighborhood unless  
    he/she is on a leash.  
    He/she will not be permitted to raid neighborhood trash cans, chase cars, or get into other mischief.
3. This dog is NOT a yard ornament. He/she will NOT be placed within the confines of a fence and ignored, except when fed.
     Bored dogs (like children) are a nuisance to their owner and the neighborhood in which they live, as they tend to bark
     for attention.
     Highly intelligent dogs which become bored may also be destructive.
4. Said dog will be vaccinated for rabies, distemper and parvo in accordance with AVMA recommendations.
5. Said dog will be kept on heartworm preventative as necessary.  He/she will also be kept free of fleas, ticks and other
    parasites.

I represent that the above information is true to the best of my knowledge. Furthermore, I recognize that the above information is given to induce owner to sell me a German Shepherd. Any misrepresentation is grounds for termination of contract. I authorize Owner to make such investigation as he sees fit.
